William henry fox talbot
Talbot was an inventor and pioneer of photography in the 1800's. He developed the calotype process. This process is the the foundation of the technology we use today and for the last hundreds of years. This process uses silver iodide paper to recorder images.
reverend calvert richard jones
Jones began his art career as a painter, once Talbot invented the calotype process. Jones mentored under John Dillwyn Llewelyn, he was a distant relative of his. Llewelyn had been developing the contemporary form of photography. Jones began studying under him to form a "painting with light." Jones became one of the first to take architectural photos. In his travels of photography be invented the wide angle and panoramic shots. He was also the first portrait photographer.
Hippolyte bayard
Bayard a French photographer, he was found to have discovered photography before Talbot was not credited for. His friend advised him to hold off on his discovery in the mean time Talbot discovered this to and became credited for it. Later Bayard was credited for one of the first political protest photos. The process that he developed was called direct positive printed which Talbot was credited for. Bayard loved to travel, he traveled around France to take architectural photographs.
